Key Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts safely and efficiently to perform material handling tasks within the air conditioned warehouse.
- Coordinate deliveries based on internal requests, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Manage inter‑warehouse transfers, receiving, and putaway of incoming shipments.
- Support inventory control activities including cycle counting and periodic stock takes.
- Perform administrative duties such as checking internal request emails, entering required data into Excel forms for inbound and outbound shipments, and updating inventory records in the company’s core system.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse transactions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and support overall warehouse operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts in a warehouse environment is required. Candidates must be comfortable with administrative tasks associated with material handling, including data entry and system updates. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment are essential. Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, are required. Physical capability to perform material handling tasks is necessary, though the role involves less heavy lifting than typical warehouse positions. A valid forklift license is required.
