About Avos Life Science and the Role

At Avos Life Science, we operate in a clean, professional environment where attention to detail matters. We’re looking for someone who can be an integral part of our daily operations, ensuring both our office and lab areas are well-maintained and supportive of our team’s work. This is a fixed-term contract position with the potential for extension, based in our modern Synapse location just a short walk from the MRT. We value reliability, a proactive attitude, and someone who enjoys contributing to a positive workplace.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your role will be varied, supporting both the office and laboratory functions. Your core duties will include:

  •  Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in office and laboratory areas; cleaning windows, walls, and glass surfaces; and emptying all trash bins.
  •  Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies, pantry items, and office refreshments (coffee, water, biscuits).
  • Assisting with tasks such as scanning documents, handling incoming/outgoing mail, receiving parcels, and occasionally delivering or collecting documents from our Tiong Bahru office.
  • Maintaining lab cleanliness, receiving lab items, cleaning and organising laboratory glassware and apparatus, preparing items for sterilisation, and delivering glassware for autoclaving at a nearby building.
  •  Supervising the monthly air-conditioning maintenance vendor’s work on-site.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who is a great fit for our collaborative and precise environment. The ideal person will be:

  • A Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Reliable, independent, and well-organised, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Takes pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to handle varied tasks efficiently and adapt to changing needs.
  • Comfortable with a role that includes both cleaning and basic administrative/ lab support duties.
  • Punctual and able to commit to the fixed Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Prior experience in a similar hybrid role or a laboratory environment is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
