Key Responsibilities

As a Fabricator-Welder, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials and plans into finished products. Your core duties will include:

  • Performing proficient welding using MIG, TIG, and ARC techniques to fabricate custom tanks and other metal components to exact specifications.
  • Accurately reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and design plans to guide fabrication work and ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Executing all stages of metal fabrication, including measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing components.
  • Performing routine maintenance on welding equipment, grinders, and other shop tools, and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all shop safety protocols.

Qualifications

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in welding. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven, hands-on experience as a Welder-Fabricator in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in multiple welding processes, specifically MIG, TIG, and ARC (Stick) welding. Experience with plastic welding is a valuable bonus.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints is a required skill for this role.
  • A strong understanding of metal properties, fabrication techniques, and the proper use of welding equipment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a personal commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • A welding certification from a recognized body (e.g., AWS) is a plus but not mandatory for candidates with demonstrable experience.
