Key Responsibilities

You will be at the heart of our piping operations, responsible for the full scope of fabrication and installation. Your key tasks will include:

  • Accurately interpreting isometric (ISO) and fabrication drawings to plan and execute pipe system installations.
  • Performing precise pipe cutting, beveling, alignment, and fit-up to prepare for welding according to project specifications.
  • Executing high-quality welds on piping systems using TIG, MIG, and ARC (SMAW) processes, including in challenging 6G positions.
  • Fabricating and installing complex pipe networks, ensuring proper placement of supports, flanges, valves, and fittings.
  • Working with a variety of materials, including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum pipes, adapting techniques as required.
  • Conducting visual inspections and basic quality checks on your welds to ensure they meet all structural and code requirements before final sign-off.
  • Maintaining a relentless focus on safety by adhering to all site regulations, company protocols, and industry best practices every day.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of formal training and hands-on capability. We are looking for:

  • Substantial, proven experience in pipe fitting and welding for industrial, construction, or maintenance projects.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and working from isometric drawings; this skill is critical for this role.
  • Expertise in TIG, MIG, and ARC (SMAW) welding processes, with certification or demonstrable skill in 6G welding positions.
  • Hands-on experience working with Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum piping systems.
  • A solid understanding of pipe system components, installation standards, and basic quality control principles.
  • A valid safety certification (e.g., BOSH-COSHI) and an unwavering commitment to safe work practices.
  • Relevant technical or vocational training (e.g., TESDA certification in Pipefitting/Welding) is highly preferred.
