Key Responsibilities
In this versatile role, you will rotate through various tasks to keep the store running like clockwork. Your daily mission includes:
- Processing purchases at lightning speed while providing friendly, professional service at the register.
- Rotating products to ensure freshness and following planograms to create visually appealing displays.
- Organizing new inventory, breaking down boxes, and operating equipment like electric hand jacks and cardboard balers safely.
- Participating in store counts, monitoring for scanning errors, and providing feedback to management on inventory losses.
- Performing general cleaning duties to ensure the store is always hygienic and welcoming for our customers.
- Helping fulfill online orders through our curbside shopping program to provide extra convenience for the community.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable team players who aren’t afraid of a physical challenge.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, “customer-first” attitude.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 45 pounds throughout your shift.
- Stockers must be available for early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.
- Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages according to local Eureka regulations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but your attitude and experience are what matter most.
