What You Will Be Doing
- You will oversee and manage day-to-day construction operations across multiple sites simultaneously.
- You will supervise site managers, engineers, and workers, ensuring every team member understands their role and responsibilities.
- You will manage subcontractors, oversee procurement, and coordinate site logistics to meet strict timelines.
- You will monitor budgets, enforce quality control, uphold safety standards, and allocate manpower effectively.
- You will ensure full compliance with Singapore building codes and safety regulations on every project.
- You will handle emergency situations and operational challenges as they arise, including issues that occur outside regular hours.
- You will prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients, keeping all stakeholders informed.
- You will work long hours 13 hours per day, Monday through Saturday—and remain calm and focused under pressure.
- You will tackle tight deadlines and ensure projects stay on track no matter the challenges.
What We Are Looking For
- You have a minimum of six to seven years of hands-on experience in civil or general construction projects.
- You have proven experience as a Site Engineer, Site Manager, or Operations Manager.
- You can manage multiple large-scale projects and lead diverse teams effectively.
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Bengali is a bonus.
- You are willing and able to work long hours, including 13-hour days and weekends when required.
- You are physically fit and possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Singapore safety and construction regulations is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates who can learn quickly.
