We are hiring skilled Carpenters, Hammerhands, and Civil Construction workers for four major projects commencing across Waikato, Taupō, Drury, and Waikeria. These roles offer steady hours, competitive pay ranging from $30 to $45 per hour, and the chance to work on commercial, residential, and civil builds. What You’ll Be Doing
For Carpenters (Qualified or Experienced):
- You will work across commercial, residential, and civil projects.
- You’ll perform formwork, framing, and general carpentry tasks.
- You’ll read plans and work to specifications.
- You’ll assist with structural and civil builds.
For Hammerhands:
- You will assist carpenters and civil crews with daily tasks.
- You’ll use hand and power tools confidently.
- You’ll support formwork, framing, and general site duties.
For Civil Construction Workers:
- You’ll take on hands-on roles across major civil projects.
- You’ll perform trenching, boxing, concrete prep, and general labouring.
- You’ll spot machinery and maintain safe work zones.
- You’ll support operators, drainlayers, and site supervisors.
- Bonus if you have WTR, Class 2, or experience with small plant.
What We’re Looking For
- You have a valid driver’s licence.
- You have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
- You can commit to 40+ hours per week.
- You have a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
- You have reliable transport and a positive attitude.
- For Carpenters: Qualified or experienced with formwork, framing, and reading plans.
- For Hammerhands: Confident with hand and power tools.
- For Civil Workers: Experience in trenching, boxing, concrete prep, or general labouring. WTR, Class 2, or small plant experience is a bonus.
