What You Will Be Doing
- Operate grading equipment including motor graders, dozers, and skid steers.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Work closely with construction crews to ensure accurate grading and leveling.
- Ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of equipment usage and maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to guide your work.
What We Are Looking For
- At least three years of experience as a Grader Operator.
- Certification as a heavy equipment operator preferred.
- Experience in road construction and excavation.
- Familiarity with GPS and laser grading equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of grading and excavation equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
