WorkPac is seeking experienced Welders (Steel Fixing) to join our client’s production plant in Tamworth. Our client is a leading manufacturer of reinforced concrete pipes in the Tamworth area, and they’re looking for reliable, safety-focused individuals to join their team. This is a Monday-to-Friday role with early morning starts, offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a respected industry leader.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and steel fixing tasks according to production requirements.
- Follow repeated manufacturing processes under instruction.
- Assist with manufacturing a diverse range of precast concrete products.
- Use a general range of tools such as drills, grinders, and other equipment.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in your work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and demonstrate a strong focus on personal and team safety.
Skills and Experience
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in MIG welding and steel fixing.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing processes.
- Right to work in Australia.
- White Card.
- Reliable, keen to learn, and committed to quality work.
- Demonstrated focus on safety for yourself and workmates.
- Good knowledge of how to use a general range of tools—drill, grinder, etc.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Ability to read product and reinforcement designs.
Compensation and Schedule
- Hourly Rate: $41.59 per hour + penalties
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (early morning starts as early as 4am)
- Location: Tamworth
