Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 4 tour coaches safely while transporting passengers on scheduled route services and scenic travel tours
- Provide informative commentary to passengers about regional landmarks, attractions, and travel destinations during the journey
- Ensure passengers experience a comfortable and enjoyable trip through professional driving and courteous communication
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure the coach remains in proper operating condition
- Follow transport schedules and assigned routes while maintaining a high level of safety and reliability
- Support team operations by communicating with dispatch and colleagues to ensure smooth daily tour services
Qualifications
- Valid Class 4 driver licence required for operating commercial passenger vehicles
- Current passenger endorsement or willingness to obtain the required certification
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and confidently with passengers
- High standards of personal presentation and professionalism when interacting with travelers
- Self motivated attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a transport team
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends as part of a seven day rotating roster
- Applicants must be a citizen, resident, or hold a valid work visa that allows employment in New Zealand
