Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks to replenish and retrieve palletized goods within warehouse storage areas while maintaining safety procedures
- Use counterbalance forklifts to load and unload trucks and shipping containers during receiving and dispatch operations
- Transport pallets safely across warehouse aisles while ensuring accurate placement in assigned storage locations
- Operate radio frequency scanning equipment to track inventory movement and maintain accurate stock records
- Assist warehouse teams with material handling tasks during busy distribution periods
- Maintain awareness of warehouse safety guidelines and ensure equipment is used responsibly at all times
- Support additional warehouse duties when required to help maintain smooth logistics operations
Qualifications
- Minimum two years experience operating forklifts within a warehouse or logistics environment
- At least three years experience operating reach trucks with confidence in high storage racking environments
- Valid reach truck and forklift licences are strongly preferred for this position
- Experience using long fork attachments, clamp attachments, slip sheet equipment, or twin tyne systems is considered an advantage
- Comfortable working in fast paced warehouse environments with consistent physical activity
- Reliable attendance and the ability to remain focused while handling warehouse equipment
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with warehouse team members
- Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and able to provide at least two professional referees
- Successful candidates must pass a drug screening and disclose any relevant criminal history in accordance with workplace safety policies
