Key Responsibilities
In this role, you won’t be stuck on a single repetitive task. You’ll need to be versatile and hands-on. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing welding and fabrication duties on a variety of projects and materials.
- Operating and learning other fabrication equipment as part of the broader workshop workflow.
- Adapting to different tasks and project requirements daily.
- Maintaining a consistent work ethic and commitment to quality across all assignments.
- Working safely and efficiently as part of the shop team.
Qualifications
To be successful, you need a practical foundation and the right attitude. The requirements are:
- A minimum of a completed welding course or 1 year of equivalent hands-on experience. This role is not for absolute newcomers.
- The ability to adapt to different welding and fabrication tasks no two days are the same.
- A reliable, hardworking mindset and the ability to commit to a Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Access to the Aldergrove-Langley area; the site is on a bus route.
