Key Responsibilities
As a Utility Operator on our packaging line, you’ll be the key to keeping our operation moving efficiently. Your primary duties will include:
- Operating various positions on the packaging line, such as stacking cartons, folding boxes, and diverting bags of charcoal onto the correct conveyor.
- Filling bags to the correct weight standard and packing boxes at a steady pace to meet production goals.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace throughout your shift.
- Identifying and removing any foreign material from the product and spotting potential quality issues.
- Building pallets of finished cartons to the required quantity and configuration.
- Performing all tasks with attention to safety and team coordination.
Qualifications
We are looking for a team player who is ready for a physical, active job. The ideal candidate will be able to meet these requirements:
- The ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
- Physical stamina for frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling throughout a shift.
- Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying weather and temperature conditions.
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- A positive attitude and reliability are essential.
