An exceptional opportunity exists for experienced Dozer Operators to join a leading mining client in the Bowen Basin. Operating a D10 or D11 Dozer on a straight 7-7 roster, you’ll play a key role in mine services operations. With DIDO residential options or BIBO from Mackay, meals, and camp all provided, this role offers a fantastic balance of high earnings and quality time off.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role within the Mine Services Department, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy dozers. Your core duties will include:

  • Safely operating a D10 or D11 Dozer to perform push operations and other designated tasks as per the mine plan.
  • Conducting pre-start checks and basic maintenance reporting on your equipment.
  • Working collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily targets safely and efficiently.
  • Strictly adhering to all site safety protocols, procedures, and environmental guidelines.
  • Maintaining clear communication with supervisors and other operators via radio.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

  • A minimum of 12 months of recent, verifiable experience operating D10 or D11 Dozers in a production mining environment.
  • A current Coal Board Medical (or the ability to obtain one promptly).
  • A Standard 11 Induction (Surface) certificate.
  • A current, valid driver’s licence.
  • A signed skills list verifying your competencies.
