Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for a comprehensive range of cleaning duties to ensure our clients’ spaces are impeccably maintained. Your key tasks will include:
- Vacuuming carpets and cleaning various floor types.
- Removing trash, recyclables, and emptying all containers.
- Stripping, waxing, and polishing hard floors.
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.
- Using industrial vacuum cleaners and applying specialised cleaning solutions to remove dirt, grease, and residues from surfaces and machinery.
- Dusting and cleaning ceilings, walls, pipes, and fixtures.
- Adhering strictly to hygiene and compliance standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the right attitude and capability:
- Previous cleaning experience in homes, offices, or commercial spaces is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe chemical use is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow schedules and checklists.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina for manual tasks and extended periods of standing.
- A full driving licence is required for travel to sites, which may involve late-night or early-morning starts.
- Must have New Zealand Residency or Citizenship (please include visa status in your application).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
