Key Responsibilities
You will be a key player in our asset remediation projects, responsible for delivering high-integrity surface protection. Your core duties will include:
- Performing surface preparation using mechanical tools and blasting techniques.
- Applying protective coatings using airless and conventional spray equipment, as well as brush and roller application.
- Working on diverse assets across construction, rail, and heavy industrial environments.
- Strictly adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a safety-first mindset at all times.
- Collaborating effectively with a close-knit site crew to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Travelling to various project sites as required.
Qualifications
We are looking for skilled professionals who bring:
- A trade certificate or relevant qualification in painting-blasting OR a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in industrial painting and blasting.
- Proficiency in airless and conventional spray application and protective coating application (brush & roller).
- Experience in surface preparation using mechanical tools.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to site locations.
- A safety-first mindset, strong work ethic, and excellent team spirit.
- Bonus assets include: Rail Industry Worker (RIW) training, high-risk work tickets, and mining-specific inductions.
