Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on production role, you will be responsible for creating high-integrity plastic components. Your key duties will include:
- Fabricating and assembling plastic parts and sub-assemblies according to detailed specifications, drawings, and schematics.
- Performing precise plastic welding using appropriate methods such as hot gas, extrusion, or ultrasonic welding to join materials accurately.
- Operating and performing basic maintenance on plastic welding and fabrication machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conducting thorough inspections of your welds and finished products to ensure they meet all structural, dimensional, and quality requirements.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of materials used, production output, and any process issues for quality control and traceability.
- Upholding excellent housekeeping and safety standards in your work area, adhering to all company protocols for machinery and material handling.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented team member with the following qualifications:
- At least 1 year of prior experience in plastic welding or a related plastic fabrication role is preferred.
- Practical experience with hot gas, extrusion, or ultrasonic plastic welding methods.
- The ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and models.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow procedures meticulously.
- The physical ability to comfortably lift and move items up to 15kg as part of the role.
- A proactive, cooperative attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to perform overtime when required.
- Permanent working rights in Singapore with no restrictions are required.
