This is a role for someone who likes variety, independence, and seeing the direct impact of their work. You’ll spend your days travelling to farms and commercial sites, installing and maintaining smart monitoring technology that helps farmers operate more efficiently and sustainably. If you’re hands-on, self-motivated, and ready to learn, we’d love to hear your story.
Company Overview
Levno is a world-leader in on-farm monitoring technology, transforming the way the agriculture sector operates. We provide farmers and agribusinesses with real-time insights that drive efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. We’re a high-growth, mission-driven team that values innovation, collaboration, and a positive, inclusive culture. Our values Win Together, Find a Better Way, Own the Outcome, and Enjoy the Ride aren’t just words on a wall; they’re how we work every day. - You’ll be out on the road daily, fault-finding and repairing equipment using a range of tools, diagnostic technology, and your own practical problem-solving skills.
- Clear, professional communication with customers is essential—you’ll explain technical issues, provide solutions, and build genuine trust with farmers and business owners.
- You will manage your own daily schedule, prioritising jobs and ensuring efficient travel between multiple sites.
- Operating tools safely, including drills and cabling equipment, while maintaining a high standard of workmanship is expected.
- As a trusted brand ambassador, you’ll represent Levno professionally, always looking for ways to add value and identify opportunities that help our customers succeed.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a practical, reliable person who thrives on independence and enjoys working with their hands.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and natural troubleshooting ability are essential. You’re the person who enjoys figuring out how things work and fixing them when they don’t.
- Confidence with tools and basic wiring is important but we provide full training on our specific technology, so the right attitude matters most.
- You must have a full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and be confident driving a 4WD Ute to remote rural locations.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a sharp eye for detail are non-negotiable. Our customers depend on you.
- You bring excellent customer service skills and the ability to build genuine rapport with people from all backgrounds.
- Physical fitness and resilience to work outdoors in all conditions are required.
- Basic IT skills for equipment updates, reporting, and record-keeping are necessary.
- Knowledge of farming environments or previous experience in a similar technician role is desirable but not essential.
