Welding Technician Wanted In Singapore

We are looking for a Welding Technician to join our production team in Singapore. You don’t need a decade of experience or a portfolio of radiography passes. What you do need is a Certificate in Technical Education, preferably with exposure to Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, and a mindset focused on quality, consistency, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on components and assemblies according to established manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
  • Conduct Total Quality Check-Control (TQC) before starting any process, ensuring materials, equipment, and settings are correct.
  • Inspect your own work before passing components to the next production stage, maintaining first-pass quality yields.
  • Meet daily output targets based on standard cycle times without compromising weld quality or safety.
  • Undergo and successfully pass required internal welding qualification levels as part of your role development.
  • Support production team members during peak periods or when additional welding capacity is needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your team leader or supervisor.
  • Demonstrate willingness to work overtime when requested to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

Educational Requirement:

  • Certificate in Technical Education or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Preference given to candidates with formal or hands-on knowledge of Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding.

Experience:

  • Related work experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Fresh graduates or trainees with the right foundational skills are encouraged to apply.
