About This Role
Reporting to the Facility Service Lead, the Corporate Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the building is cleaned in accordance with established methods, specifications, and safety requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing established cleaning methods and practices in line with cleaning specifications.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and spot cleaning carpeted areas.
- Operating electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines.
- Emptying waste bins and transporting waste to designated collection points.
- Replenishing consumables including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Cleaning shared facilities including kitchens, bathrooms, and amenities.
- Reporting hazards or issues affecting service delivery to the supervisor.
- Ensuring chemicals, equipment, and materials are used and stored safely and compliantly.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning role (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
- Sound verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required for appointment.
