Position Overview
- Role: Train Station Cleaner
- Shift Options:
- Monday–Friday 9:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Saturday and Sunday 9:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Pay: From $33.61 per hour + penalties + super
- Location: Midland Train Station
- Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time
- Start Date: ASAP
What You Will Be Doing
- Maintain cleanliness across platforms, restrooms, waiting areas, and public spaces.
- Sweep, mop, dust, empty bins, and ensure a clean and safe environment for commuters.
- Report maintenance or safety issues using Ventia’s systems.
- Operate pressure washers and floor scrubbers for scheduled deep cleaning.
- Driver’s licence required for operating the ride-on scrubber (night shift only).
What You Need
- Recent Australian National Police Check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, and drug and alcohol testing.
- Valid driver licence and reliable transport (night shift only).
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
