Key Responsibilities
As a General Labourer with ALH Nelson, you’ll take on a diverse range of tasks across multiple worksites.
- Work in scaffolding, traffic control, and vessel unloading as needed.
- Perform general hands-on tasks in sawmill environments and other industrial settings.
- Assist with various trades and services tasks, adapting to the needs of each job.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Represent ALH Nelson professionally at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal history check.
- Have a restricted driver’s license at a minimum and reliable transport.
- Comfortable working in a variety of trades and services environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic.
- Right to work in New Zealand.
Preferred (But Not Essential):
- Previous experience in scaffolding, traffic control, or industrial environments.
- Full driver’s license.
