About the Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work in one of New Zealand’s most stunning locations Queenstown. You’ll be part of a supportive team, contributing to projects that shape the local community. With hours between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, you’ll enjoy a consistent schedule while earning competitive pay. Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Labourer, you’ll assist the team with a variety of tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Assist the team on site where required with general construction tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform site clean-up to maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
- Handle and carry building materials as needed.
- Follow instructions from Site Foreman and Supervisors promptly and accurately.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for individuals who are energetic, reliable, and ready to contribute to a positive team environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Be energetic and physically fit.
- Reliable with a good work ethic.
- Reliable transport to get to work.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Available for full-time ongoing work.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Good health and safety awareness.
- Previous construction labouring experience preferred.
- Site Safe certification required for some jobs.
Schedule and Compensation
- Hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Pay: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour + 8% holiday pay (depending on experience)
- Start: Immediate starts available
