Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Labourer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the project running smoothly and safely.
- Support tradespeople and site supervisors with daily tasks and project needs.
- Set up, move, and pack down tools and materials as required.
- Perform general labouring and site clean-up duties to maintain a tidy work environment.
- Undertake digging, lifting, and assist with concreting tasks depending on project requirements.
- Adhere to all on-site health and safety protocols at all times.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors promptly and accurately.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for individuals who are physically fit, reliable, and ready to contribute to a positive team environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour, including lifting and digging.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Reliable transport to and from the site.
- No pending criminal convictions.
- Must be able to work in New Zealand.
Preferred (But Not Essential):
- Site Safe Passport.
- Previous experience in construction labouring or similar roles.
