Key Responsibilities
- Set up and perform TIG welding on high-temperature alloys for the repair of turbine blades and aeroderivative products, following technical specifications.
- Carry out blending repairs on turbine blades and related components to restore them to operational condition.
- Work with advanced welding machines and test equipment, ensuring proper setup and operation for each task.
- Maintain consistent product quality, carefully inspecting your own work and adhering to all specifications.
- Take responsibility for equipment care, keeping your machinery in good working order and reporting any issues.
- Meet production output targets and schedules while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules and regulations without exception, and report any unsafe practices or conditions immediately.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by your supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the repair team.
Qualifications
- You have completed Secondary level education or higher.
- A NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or proven TIG welding experience is strongly preferred.
- You have at least 3 years of working experience in a related field, ideally with high-temperature alloys or precision components.
- You’re comfortable working with advanced welding equipment and following technical specifications closely.
- You understand the importance of quality, precision, and consistency in every repair you perform.
- You’re reliable, punctual, and committed to working safely at all times.
- You’re able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced repair environment.
- You’re prepared to work rotating shifts after probation two weeks of morning shifts followed by two weeks of night shifts.

- During probation: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- After probation: rotating shifts two weeks of morning shift (7:30 am to 5:00 pm) followed by two weeks of night shift (7:30 pm to 5:00 am), Monday to Friday.
- Night shift allowance of $14 per night when working the night rotation.
