We’re currently looking for experienced auto mechanics to join our team in Japan. This opportunity is open to two types of candidates—those who have already completed their Technical Intern Training Program in Japan, and first-timers who have the right certifications. You’ll be handling general repair and maintenance work, from oil changes to dent repairs and painting. If you’ve got at least two years of experience and you’re ready to take your skills overseas, this could be the right move.

What the Job Involves

  • General automobile repair and maintenance: You’ll handle everything from routine services to more involved repairs on cars and other vehicles.
  • Engine oil changes: Keeping engines running smoothly with regular oil changes is a core part of the work.
  • Tire services: You’ll handle tire changes, wheel alignment, and flat tire repairs as needed.
  • Battery and wiper replacements: Simple but essential services that keep vehicles safe and reliable.
  • Auto dent repair and metal painting: If you have experience in body work and painting, that’s a valuable skill set for this role.

What You Must Have

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the automobile industry as a mechanic, technician, or similar role, either locally or abroad.
  • A high school diploma or higher education level.
  • A valid passport with at least 1 year of validity remaining before expiration.
  • For ex-TITP applicants: A certificate of completion from JITCO or OTIT showing you finished your technical intern training in Japan.
  • For first-time applicants: Prometric certification in both skills and language this is essential if you haven’t done the TITP program before.
  • Experience or knowledge in auto dent repair and metal painting is specifically required for this role.

  • This role accepts both ex-Japan technical trainees and first-time applicants, but the requirements are different for each. Make sure you have the right documents before applying.
