What the Job Involves
- Automobile repair and maintenance: You’ll handle everything from routine upkeep to more involved repairs, making sure vehicles stay in good working order.
- Inspecting vehicles thoroughly: You’ll check each system carefully steering, suspension, power transmission, electrical components, and engine devices to identify any issues.
- Making good-bad judgments on parts: Based on your inspections, you’ll decide which parts need repair, replacement, or just routine attention.
- Performing supplementary work: When periodic inspections reveal problems, you’ll handle the necessary fixes to bring vehicles back up to standard.
- Keeping equipment in shape: You’ll make sure all tools and equipment are maintained and ready for use.
What You Must Have
- At least 1 year of working experience in automobile repair and maintenance.
- A high school diploma or higher education level.
- A valid, unexpired passport ready for processing.
- Hands-on knowledge of vehicle systems including steering, suspension, power transmission, electrical components, and engines.
- The ability to work carefully and methodically inspections require attention to detail and good judgment.
