Key Responsibilities

You will be integral to our production quality, handling hardware from start to finish. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting incoming goods inspection and quality checks on all electronic and mechanical components.
  • Assembling electronic hardware and enclosures using precision hand tools.
  • Performing cable assembly, basic wiring, and soldering of components, including SMDs using hot air rework stations.
  • Executing functional testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting on assembled units.
  • Programming and configuring devices according to strict documented procedures.
  • Using standard test equipment like multimeters, power supplies, and bench tools.
  • Accurately recording all build and test data in our internal systems.
  • Identifying defects and proactively suggesting process improvements.
  • Maintaining an exceptionally clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for a hands-on professional with a proven track record in electronics assembly. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in an electronics or hardware assembly role.
  • Confidence and skill with precision hand tools and soldering, including SMD components and hot air rework. IPC certification is a bonus but not essential.
  • Experience in testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting electronic assemblies.
  • The ability to meticulously follow work instructions, schematics, and checklists.
  • Strong general computer skills for data entry and using basic software tools.
  • An exceptional attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
  • The initiative to work independently and take ownership of your tasks from start to finish.
