The Outside Service Staff position is designed to provide exceptional guest service and ensure smooth golf operations at the club. Reporting to the General Manager or Golf Professional, this role focuses on cart and range operations, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all guests in a warm, professional manner according to club standards
- Operate mechanical and hand equipment for range ball recovery
- Collect, organize, and maintain cleanliness of range baskets and golf carts
- Wash range balls to ensure cleanliness and usability
- Maintain neat and organized outdoor areas; avoid cart congestion and arrange carts properly
- Ensure golf carts are clean, fueled, and rotated for uniform usage
- Assist golf shop personnel with tournament setup, cart staging, and range operations
- Follow procedures for opening and closing of cart and range operations
- Address minor issues promptly and refer major problems or complaints to management
- Keep work areas free of trash and clutter
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs regularly
- Minimum age 16 with a valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand for 6–8 hours at a time
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to solve practical problems and follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions
Physical Demands
- Frequent lifting of up to 70 lbs and extended periods on feet
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
