Key Responsibilities
In this pivotal support role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our branch. Your key duties will include:
- Safely loading and unloading trucks and managing the efficient receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Conducting accurate stock control, including inventory counts and organisation within the warehouse.
- Processing customer sales and orders at the counter and via phone, providing exceptional service.
- Safely delivering orders to local customers using company vehicles.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard and warehouse environment.
- Supporting the broader branch team with a wide range of operational tasks as required.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual with the following:
- Essential: A current driver’s licence and a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence.
- Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations.
- A strong, unwavering focus on safety in all tasks.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- A forklift licence and a Heavy Combination (HC) licence are highly advantageous.
