Key Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel components strictly according to drawing specifications.
  • Set up manual welding equipment correctly for each job, ensuring proper parameters for the material and process.
  • Prepare operations according to instructions on the process plan, meeting customer requirements and specifications every time.
  • Manufacture parts following process routing, using the appropriate welding, grinding, and deburring tools for each stage.
  • Work efficiently based on work priorities, completing tasks within the allocated estimated time frame without compromising quality.
  • Identify and handle technical problems related to welding as they arise, finding practical solutions to keep work moving.
  • Deliver completed products and related documents properly to the next operation in the production sequence.
  • Maintain work safety and good housekeeping at all times, keeping your workspace clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery targets are met according to established KPIs.
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement programs to help improve company business processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • You have completed at least SPM, O-Level, or an equivalent level of education.
  • You hold relevant welding certifications, such as AWS Certified Welder, Welder Qualification Test, or Competency Certificates in Welding.
  • You are qualified to at least 3G welding position and can demonstrate your capability.
  • You can read and interpret basic engineering drawings accurately.
  • You have proven experience working with aluminum, steel, and stainless steel using both TIG and MIG processes.
  • You understand the importance of following process plans and work instructions to meet customer specifications.
  • You’re comfortable working to KPIs and estimated time frames while maintaining quality standards.
  • You have a problem-solving mindset and can address technical welding issues as they come up.
  • You’re reliable, safety-conscious, and take pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • You’re open to participating in continuous improvement initiatives and contributing ideas to make things better.
