About the Role
As an Overnight Janitorial Associate, you will be essential to our store’s daily operations, working behind the scenes to maintain our high standards of cleanliness. This is a full-time or part-time position with a focus on the overnight shift, offering an hourly wage range of $15.00 to $28.00, with a median pay of $21.50. Your role directly impacts the first and last impression our store makes on thousands of customers.
Your Key Responsibilities

- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the entire store, including sales floors, restrooms, the front entrance, and the receiving area.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and dusting according to Walmart’s standards.
- Manage waste disposal and ensure all trash receptacles are emptied regularly.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms thoroughly throughout your shift.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety hazards, such as spills or broken equipment, to a supervisor.
- Ensure the parking lot and exterior areas are free of litter and debris.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for both customers and associates.
