Key Responsibilities
As a key operator in our terminal, you will ensure the smooth and safe movement of containers, a vital link in the supply chain.
- Safely operate terminal vehicles to load and unload containers from vessels with precision and care.
- Transport containers between designated points within the port area, following all planned routes and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre- and post-operation checks, maintaining your assigned vehicle in a state of good cleanliness and mechanical order.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation and system updates for each container movement.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of terminal operations.
Qualifications
We believe in giving people a strong start. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- A valid Singapore Class 3 driving license is essential.
- Minimum PSLE education with a pass in English.
- A strong willingness to work on a rotating roster based on 12-hour shifts (day/night), fulfilling a minimum of 22 shifts per month.
- A positive attitude towards learning, safety, and working as part of a close-knit team.
- This position is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
- No prior experience is necessary—we provide full training. Successful candidates will undergo training and OJT, leading to an ITE Skills Certificate in Port Operations.
