What You Will Do Each Day
- Clean clients’ homes following Merry Maids specific products and procedures for consistent results
- Dust all surfaces including furniture, shelves, blinds, and baseboards
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery, then mop hard floors to a streak free shine
- Clean kitchens and bathrooms including sinks, counters, toilets, showers, and tubs
- Wipe down mirrors, windowsills, and other glass surfaces
- Ensure every room is left looking fresh, smelling clean, and thoroughly groomed
- Travel to client homes using either a company vehicle or your own personal car with paid mileage
What You Need to Qualify
No previous cleaning experience is required because three weeks of paid training are provided. You must have a valid driver’s license. Having your own personal vehicle is an asset, but company vehicles are available so it is not strictly required. You must be able to pass a police record check. Physical stamina is important because you will be standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout each shift. A positive attitude and attention to detail are more valuable than existing skills. You must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Pay Rate and Benefits
The pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $18.00 per hour based on performance or bonuses. You receive a weekly paycheck.
