Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally at the parts counter.
- Identify customer needs and provide accurate information about parts and accessories.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, including special orders and backorders.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels and stock shelves as needed.
- Receive, organize, and process incoming parts shipments.
- Locate and retrieve parts for both customers and technicians.
- Verify part numbers and pricing information to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to expedite orders when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Support administrative tasks and participate in ongoing training opportunities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with relevant software.
