Key Responsibilities
You will be a vital part of our production workflow, working directly on our advanced systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Operating, monitoring, and performing basic maintenance on pick-and-place machinery and other production equipment.
- Fabricating, assembling, and installing custom wiring harnesses to exact specifications.
- Producing and assembling battery packs and related power systems.
- Assembling mechanical and electronic components for robotic systems and sub-assemblies.
- Collaborating closely with our engineering team to meet production goals and timelines.
- Following strict quality control procedures and maintaining accurate production documentation.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified and reliable individual who meets the following criteria:
- A Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related trade qualification (TAFE or equivalent).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment.
- Demonstrated competence with hand tools, soldering (through-hole and basic SMD), and mechanical assembly.
- The ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing quality work.
- Must be an Australian citizen (a requirement for our defence industry work).
- A reliable, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
Desirable Skills: Experience with robotics-automation, familiarity with pick-and-place machines, or IPC soldering certification.
