We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver and Warehouse Associate to join our team in Auckland. This hybrid role involves delivering goods to cinemas across Auckland while also supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a good understanding of warehouse processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Driving Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to various cinema locations throughout Auckland.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, following designated routes and schedules.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, ensuring all paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with cinema staff during deliveries.
- Navigate Auckland routes efficiently, using knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Assist with receiving, storing, and distributing inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, including shelving and stock rotation.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks and ensuring that products are secure during transport.
- Support warehouse operations by participating in inventory counts and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Valid New Zealand driver’s licence (Class 2 preferred) is required.
- Proven experience in a driving role, preferably with knowledge of local Auckland routes.
- Experience in warehouse operations and logistics is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- New Zealand working rights required.
