Key Responsibilities
Your role is crucial to our daily operations and customer satisfaction.
- Safely complete 10-15 multi-drop deliveries per day across the region, ensuring all goods arrive on time and in perfect condition.
- Provide hands-on assistance to warehouse teammates with loading your MR truck and general warehouse duties as required.
- Offer friendly, helpful service to customers at delivery points, including assisting with unloading when needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and proactively communicate any customer feedback or delivery issues to the team.
- Uphold the highest standards of vehicle safety, performing pre-start checks and keeping your truck clean and well-maintained.
- Be flexible to take on additional tasks, including occasional overnight runs, to support business needs.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a team player with the right tickets and attitude.
- A current MR (Medium Rigid) driver’s licence with a clean driving record is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar driving role, ideally within a warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Experience handling bulk or building products is highly regarded.
- A reliable, self-motivated work ethic with excellent time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and provide contactable work references.
