Key Responsibilities

You will be a core part of our fabrication process, bringing custom designs and repairs to life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel for custom parts, repairs, and modifications.
  • Using MIG welding processes as required for various fabrication tasks.
  • Reading work orders and using precision measuring instruments to cut, bend, and shape materials accurately.
  • Preparing components for welding by positioning, clamping, and jigging with care and precision.
  • Contributing to automotive projects, with familiarity in rust repair and panel replacement being a strong asset.
  • Maintaining an organised, safe, and efficient workstation at all times.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable, adaptable welder who is eager to grow with our business. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional TIG welding experience (3+ years is a strong asset).
  • Proven ability to TIG weld stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.
  • Strong general automotive and fabrication knowledge.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment.
  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable daily transportation.
  • Physical ability to perform the job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Must be located in Manitoba, Canada.
