Key Responsibilities
You’ll work across multiple manufacturing areas, supporting the production of instrument transformers from the ground up.
- Your core duties will involve following job sheets and standard operating procedures to assemble high-voltage instrument transformers and metering units with precision and consistency.
- You’ll operate a range of powered and non-powered tools and machinery across our production areas, including resin casting, winding, core manufacture, and final assembly .
- Safely mixing and handling resins, solvents, and other materials is a key part of the process.
- You’ll need to read and interpret technical drawings, performing tasks such as soldering, terminating, and electrical assembly.
- Maintaining a tidy, organised workspace and minimising waste is expected of every team member.
- You’ll accurately record material usage and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Collaboration is essential you’ll work closely with your team and know when to ask for help.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused individual with the right attitude and aptitude.
- Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment is preferred, but we provide full on-site training for the right candidate.
- You must be able to read technical drawings and follow structured procedures with accuracy.
