Key Responsibilities
This role involves travelling to clients homes and providing practical support tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Assist clients with transportation to medical appointments and personal visits
- Provide support when attending social activities or community engagements
- Help clients with grocery shopping and other essential errands
- Prepare simple meals while following dietary needs and preferences
- Provide personal care assistance when required in accordance with care plans
- Assist with medication reminders when properly qualified to do so
- Offer respite support for families and primary caregivers
- Provide social companionship to help clients remain engaged and connected
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry, and changing bed linen
Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Disability Support
• Valid Victorian driver licence
• Access to a reliable vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to communicate effectively and build respectful relationships with clients
• Previous experience in aged care or community support is beneficial
• Must have valid work rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete First Aid and CPR training if required
