Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for:
- Performing high-quality MIG welding to fabricate and assemble wood heaters and related components according to technical specifications.
- Conducting your own quality inspections on finished welds to ensure they meet our strict standards for strength and appearance.
- Operating a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete fabrication tasks.
- Potentially operating a plasma cutting table and performing basic machining or deburring operations as needed.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
The right candidate for our team will have:
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a MIG welder in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- A strong focus on detail and the ability to produce precise, consistent work.
- The physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 100 lbs, and perform tasks in a factory environment.
- A reliable, self-motivated work ethic and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Experience operating a forklift is a valuable bonus.
