Key Responsibilities
As a vital link in our supply chain, you will be responsible for a variety of key warehouse functions:
- Accurately picking customer orders using voice-pick or scanner technology, whether by full cases or individual bags.
- Operating automated pick carts and other material handling equipment to build and stage orders efficiently.
- Loading outbound route trucks safely and securely using manual methods or roller carts.
- Managing the flow of materials, including unloading returned products and cardboard from trucks for recycling.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment through regular sanitation and clean-up duties.
- Participating in team meetings and adhering to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who bring the following skills and attributes:
- Previous forklift operation experience is required for this role.
- The physical ability to safely and repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- A strong team player mentality, with the capability to also work effectively on independent tasks.
- The resilience to work in a high-pressure setting while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- A valid Class G driver’s license with a clean record is a strong asset.
- A proactive attitude towards safety and cleanliness.
