We’re looking for a dedicated Property Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations at a property in Novena. In this role, you’ll manage a team of Property Stewards, ensure quality service delivery across multiple areas, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, landscaping, and basic building maintenance. If you’re organized, hands-on, and have experience in environmental cleaning or facilities management, this is an opportunity to take on a supervisory role with stable hours and clear responsibilities. This position is open to Singaporeans only.
About the Opportunity
This role is based in Novena and offers a chance to work with a team dedicated to keeping the property in top condition. You’ll be responsible for everything from scheduling and supervising staff to performing hands-on cleaning, landscaping, and minor repairs. Working closely with the Property Executive, you’ll respond to resident feedback, coordinate with vendors, and ensure contract services are delivered properly. Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Manage and monitor operations across multiple areas to ensure quality service delivery.
- Oversee inventory, equipment, and maintenance schedules, ensuring cleaning tools and supplies are always in order.
- Supervise the Property Stewards team, including rostering, planning, and deployment.
- Report major incidents and emergencies to management promptly.
- Provide guidance to team members and evaluate their performance.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness and landscaping meet the highest standards.
Hygiene Duties:
- Perform general cleaning of indoor corridors and fixtures, including balustrades, railings, and glass panels.
- Ensure restrooms are clean and sanitary, and replenish consumables regularly.
- Clean escalators, passenger lifts, and service lift walls and floors.
- Maintain outdoor premises including walkways, pavements, balconies, drop-off points, and loading bays.
- Empty and clean trash bins to prevent overflowing.
- Keep the bin center and service areas neat and tidy at all times.
- Operate cleaning machinery including walk-behind scrubbers, ride-on scrubbers, autonomous cleaning robots, vacuum cleaners, and high-pressure water jets.
- Perform simple preventive maintenance on all cleaning equipment.
Landscaping Duties:
- Prune and trim dead or overgrown hedges and leaves.
- Perform periodic weeding as needed.
- Apply fungicide to protect plants from diseases.
- Apply fertilizer to enhance plant growth.
- Water plants throughout the property compound.
- Dispose of dead leaves and horticultural waste properly.
Building Maintenance:
- Perform routine cleaning of air-conditioning units in common areas.
- Undertake basic repairs including replacing light bulbs, tightening screws, and spot painting.
Onsite Assistance:
- Greet residents and maintain a friendly, professional presence.
- Work with the Property Executive to respond to resident feedback and coordinate works in common areas by FEO CE Team or external vendors.
- Ensure contract services are provided adequately by checking work performed and advising the Property Executive of any shortcomings.
- Assist the Security Officer in incident management if required.
Qualifications
Required:
- General Education or WSQ Certificate in Environmental Cleaning.
- Able to understand basic instructions in English and communicate with customers.
- Must be able to carry out cleaning duties such as dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, and handling and disposing of waste.
- Diligent, efficient, and well-mannered worker, willing to learn and be trained.
- Singaporeans only.
Preferred:
- Previous supervisory experience in property maintenance, cleaning, or facilities management.
- Familiarity with cleaning machinery and basic maintenance tasks.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly Salary: $2,800
- Work Days: 6 working days per week
