What You’ll Do
- Perform routine electrical servicing and general equipment maintenance on generators, load banks, distribution equipment, and batteries.
- Conduct fault finding and repairs on electrical systems, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Provide customer response in case of equipment failure, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable service.
- Perform electrical system servicing according to defined service intervals, following standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Carry out LV and HV isolation, maintenance, and switching as required.
- Perform intermediate electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics across a range of equipment.
- Complete LV commissioning tasks as part of your daily responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, repairs made, and parts used.
- Work safely at all times, following company protocols and industry standards.
What You’ll Bring
To thrive in this role, you’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Qualified Electrician status with a certified electrical license this is essential.
- A valid Driver’s License to travel locally as needed.
- A Forklift License is an advantage and will make your application stand out.
- Experience with LV and HV isolation, maintenance, and switching.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with generators, load banks, distribution equipment, and batteries.
- A commitment to working safely and following procedures.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a tight-knit team.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to respond to customer needs when equipment failures occur.
