Your Key Responsibilities
Your day will be spent providing safe transportation and genuine companionship.
- Safely drive clients to various locations such as medical appointments, grocery stores, pharmacies, and social outings.
- Provide friendly conversation, emotional support, and reassurance during travel.
- Assist clients with getting in and out of the vehicle and carrying groceries or parcels.
- Observe and communicate any noticeable changes in a client’s condition or well-being to the Spectrum management team.
- Ensure a comfortable, respectful, and positive experience for every client.
Qualifications You’ll Need
We are looking for responsible individuals who meet specific requirements for this trusted role.
- A valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- A clear driver’s abstract is required.
- Must obtain a Class 07 Rider designation as a condition of employment (support may be provided).
- A compassionate, patient, and caring personality with a genuine passion for helping seniors and others in need.
- A Two-Step TB Test (completed within the last year) is required.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
Compensation And Position Details
We offer fair compensation for your time, mileage, and the valuable service you provide.
- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour, plus $0.70 per kilometre for the use of your vehicle.
- Position: Casual, on-call position offering flexible hours.
- Location: Serving clients across the Peel Region (Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke).
