In this role, you’ll use commercial water blasting equipment to clean exterior building surfaces and hard surfaces, ensuring the regions parks, playgrounds, and public spaces remain clean, green, and thriving. Key Responsibilities
As a Water Blaster, you’ll play a central role in promoting exceptional customer service and collaborating closely with the wider team to ensure project success.
- Use commercial water blasting equipment to clean exterior building surfaces and hard surfaces, ensuring high-quality results.
- Scope and plan work prior to commencing hard surface cleaning, ensuring all requirements are understood.
- Meet service delivery requirements and expectations for a diverse range of clients and council assets.
- Comply with all Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Assist others within the team as required, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for someone with relevant experience, a strong commitment to safety, and a willingness to assist others.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant water blasting experience and skills in the safe and effective use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality procedures.
- Proven experience working at heights alongside relevant heights and EWP certifications.
- Committed to getting the work done, regardless of Auckland’s unpredictable weather.
- Willingness to assist others within the team as required.
- In accordance with the Company’s Drug and Alcohol Policy, the successful candidate will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Preferred (But Not Essential):
- Additional experience in related maintenance or cleaning roles.
