Key Responsibilities
You will be hands-on in the construction of our renowned aluminum hulls and vessels. Your core duties will include:
- Performing high-quality MIG (Push-Pull) welding on aluminum, with pulse experience being a strong asset.
- Fitting pre-cut parts, preparing components, and performing sub-assembly welding for hull and vessel construction.
- Safely operating saws, grinders, drills, and other fabrication tools.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints or work orders to understand specifications.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area in compliance with all company and WorkSafeBC safety standards.
- Demonstrating pride in your workmanship to achieve our exacting quality standards daily.
Qualifications
We are looking for team members who embody our values and bring solid skills. You will need:
- 2-3 years of experience in welding and fabricating aluminum products.
- Proficiency in MIG (Push-Pull) welding; pulse experience is preferred.
- The ability to safely operate standard fabrication power tools.
- A high attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- The ability to read blueprints-drawings is an asset but not required.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently or collaboratively, follow directions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in Canada.
